online creative writing course

Crazy eWe is an online creative writing course with a twist

Rather than the usual online creative writing courses that break down the structure of The Matrix or Jaws or... some classic black and white film from the 1950s that nobody - except film students - is likely to have ever seen, we had a brainwave. Why not develop a new story and put that through the story development mangle. With no steps missed. Crazy eWe was born and to show our enthusiasm we even came up with a cute little character. Doesn't he look crazy.

Through a series of YouTube videos, viewers will suggest story components such as hero's name, antagonist's plan, love interest etc. and we will take those suggestions and shape them into a story using all the tips and tricks we've covered on the YouTube channel and website.

it's so crazy, it might just work.

What's more, unlike other courses that you simply download, this online creative writing course is interactive. In stunning 1080p videos. All you have to do is Subscribe to our Youtube Channel, watch the Crazy eWe videos and make suggestions in the comments section below. The suggestions with the most likes, no matter how crazy, will get included in the next story development video. What could possibly go wrong? [Gulp]

Subscribers will see how a whole story goes through development rather than seeing structure applied to existing movies which have already been worked out. And it's all FREE. Even the accompanying downloads. Crazy.

Throughout the course, we will explore the relationship between the principal cast and demonstrate the mechanics behind how they work together to drive the story forward. We will also explore in depth the three act structure, the six key story beats as well as themes and sequences.

Finally, we will work up the story into a single page outline with all the necessary components such as title, log-lines, genre, target audience etc.

it's an online creative writing course that's had a hard kick in the backside.

'William Peel is a brilliant character, an aristocratic buffoon– so wealthy he is beyond reproach, and lacking any self awareness, he makes for a superbly comic protagonist. This is a brilliant example of the historical comedy genre.'

Harper Collins

'A conversation with William Peel is like being stabbed in the head with a blunt knife covered in goat excrement'

The Prince Regent, 1814

'It’s a failing of the common man that he mistakes arrogance for simply the behaviour of his betters'

William Peel, Lord of Tornbridge
